(RNS) U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was among clergy of various faiths, students, and members of the community who gathered Thursday (April 17) to remember three shooting victims during a “Service of Unity & Hope” at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City in Overland Park, Kan.
“Every, every alleged hate crime, no matter who the intended target is, is an affront to who we are, both as a country and as a people,” Holder said.
