BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -Two Jewish lesbians on Monday (June 16) became the first same-sex couple to hold a religious, legally recognized wedding ceremony in California, tying the knot within half an hour after the state Supreme Court’s legalization of same-sex marriage took effect.
