Taking worship to a new level, a 33-year-old member of Florida megachurch Northland Church recently returned from six months on the road exploring worship on the Web.

Dana Kobosky traveled across 19 states in four months to visit with people who worship online through her church’s “InSite.”

She visited eight worship sites across the country, joining fellow worshippers at their homes. She also worshipped with one person at a Starbucks.

She said prayer and singing happens no matter how small the group worshipping, for the most part.

“The big exception would be singing when you’re worshipping somewhere like Starbucks,” she jokes.

The church has webcast its services since 2006 but started the upgraded version earlier this year.
