What do Michael W. Smith and Dolly Parton have in common? They’ll both be inducted tonight into the Gospel Music Association’s Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tenn.

Joining the contemporary Christian artist and the veteran country singer will be Bobby Jones, executive producer of BET’s “Bobby Jones Gospel,” The Dixie Hummingbirds, a group that dates to the 1920s, and music producer Lari Goss.

“This year’s class of GMA Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees have all achieved great professional and personal success in many different areas of the music and entertainment industries, but each shares a common heritage of the Gospel’s powerful impact on their lives,” said John W. Styll, president and CEO of the Gospel Music Foundation in his announcement of the inductees.
