  1. Sheesh…maybe these purveyors of religious foolishness will actually have to get real jobs..
    Perish the thought.

  2. Nah, they’re sure to find another batch of religious illiterates looking for someone who can give them one of their fictional highs by pumping up their emotions and calling it “spiritual.” The masses are too lazy to spend time studying the history of religion so that they can “separate the wheat from the chaff.”

Theirs is the kind of religion that is no different than alcoholism or another drug addiction. It’s all emotional, nothing mental about it. It is so sad that people go through life without doing and receiving all the best because they settle for the false, destructive bootleg stuff. Beware of preachers who inherit their positions through blood or marriage. That’s the only good thing that can be said about the celibacy of the Catholic priesthood.

Billions of dollars, glass cathedrals, noisy music, and waving of arms cannot take the place of using one’s energy and brain to study, think, and choose based on science and other academics. Oh yeah, including the history of religion, starting with mythology.

  3. sad to find so much strife and descension in the very place where peace and harmony should prevail. greed and lust for power, position and prominence is eating away at the core of all religions today. not just christianity–leaving the doors wide open for every enemy of all kinds to enter and get their “feast on”!!!
