(RNS) A new report examines the religious beliefs of Asian-Americans, and unlike past reports on this group and religion, focuses on their religious affiliations rather than their country of origin. By Lauren Markoe.

  1. In itself Asia is diverse. We have Turkey all the way to almost oceania. It is not a homogenous group and to try to put a label on a people is rather futile. If by Asian you mean those by the mongoloid race that would still render a really different statistic. If by Asian you mean east of Turkey including the Middle East, Lebanon, etc. then you have an extremely diverse setting. Except for the huge landmass known as Asia, there is no unifying factor as there would be in Latin America nor any factor that could be applied to other parts of the world!
