Tuesday’s Religion News Roundup: 9/11, Rosary Rallies and Latino Episcopalians

Today is the eleventh anniversary of 9/11. Catholics hold "Rosary Rallies" that critics say are also Paul Ryan rallies. More Latinos are flocking to the Episcopalian Church.

Day broke as crisp and beautiful today as it did 11 years ago in New York, Washington, and Shanksville, Pa. One survivor recalls how the Lord's Prayer helped him through that day and out of the towers.

At Ground Zero, the legal battle delaying the opening of a 9/11 museum seems close to resolution. But another legal battle continues to rage over the cross from the wreckage of the World Trade Center that atheists do not want displayed in the museum.

Taking a page from the U.S. bishops? In Moscow, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, on state television, said the church is under attack by those who fear its post-Soviet revival.

And here's some fresh news that seems like it's really old: Pat Robertson told a man troubled by his disobedient wife that he should become a Muslim and move to Saudi Arabia so he could beat her. And an ultra-Orthodox radio station in Israel doesn't like the idea of women on the air.
