(RNS) “I cannot forgive myself. I was in shock. I felt as if somebody died, as if a house burned.” Rabbi Binyahim Tamaiev, after his car was stolen with a $30,000 Torah scroll in the trunk. The car and Torah were later recovered by police. He was quoted by the New York Post.
