    There are lots of ways for clerics to abuse their positions besides the tawdry ones that make headlines. Purely secular prejudices and political views that are the precise opposite of Christian charity are the norm in too many American Churches. The Gospel of Wealth is little different than the Divine Right of Kings and both deserve to be called “abuse”.
