“We take an oath to do this. Can I pick and choose? No. Can I separate the sins from the sinners? No. We are burying a dead body. That’s what we do.”

– Funeral director Peter Stefan of Worcester, Mass., talking to The Associated Press about the controversy from his handling of the body of Boston Marathon bombings suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev

I was privileged to have watched Mr. Stefan earlier this evening on CNN. Staightforward and compassionate in his approach to what he does. He also appears to have a sensitivity to then of life needs of the Muslim community. Simply a wise and decent man.
