As someone who has watched the affects of sexual abuse (and lets call it what it is…violence and rape) form priests and religious brothers, on two members of my family I am proud….and saddened…. to sign the petition put out by Geoffrey Robinson. Proud to be able to stand up for these two family members, one who has committed suicide because he wasn’t able to deal with the life of devastation thrust so violently upon him, and one who has fought his demons through drug and alcohol abuse. The repercussions of the violence these two young boys had to contend with has spanned 45 years and touched the lives of 4 generations. Enough NOW!!!!!
