(1988) Moscow Baptist Church in the Soviet Union was the place for Christian fellowship one Saturday afternoon recently. A certain quality of brightness was evident in the faces of Soviet Baptists like this woman and child, who attended the church to be led by youth in a special program celebrating their faith. Young people participated in singing, quoting poems, and dialogue. Baptists throughout the Soviet Union have celebrated the 1,000th anniversary year for Christianity there.
