“I don’t look forward to it. I’m not eager to end this life. But I don’t look to it with any fear or trepidation.” — Former President Jimmy Carter, in an interview with Religion News Service’s Jonathan Merritt on his views of the afterlife.

As I understand it JC (ex prez) is a believer in JC (supposed son of God), so in his mind, if he truly believes that BS, how can he not be looking forward to the end of life here? I think maybe his belief may not be as strong as it he lets on. Or perhaps he understand, as so eloquently stated by C. Hitchens, that he doesn’t think that spend eternity groveling at the feet of, and praising a being is what he would think of as paradise. I’m an anti-theist, and I can say the same thing, go figure.
