  1. I’ve been on Depo for three and a half years. I decided to start tainkg it because I had pain so bad i would vomit and faint. When I first got the shot, my period lasted for about a month. Now, I have not had a period since then. It’s great in my opinion. A little bit pricey at amount $80.00 every 12 weeks for the injection. But if you aren’t active or have been on it for as long as me, the doctors will not require you to do a pee test which is 15-20 $$.Also I never had it injected in my butt . the doctors I’ve been with say they only put in in the arm or knee because it spreads quicker.
