(RNS) When she signed up on eHarmony, the website asked J. Dana Trent what faiths she’d be open to in a partner. She initially checked Christian and Jewish, and then, on a whim, added other faith traditions. That ended up including Fred Eaker, an American-born Hindu convert.

    • I think the statement “Having an exclusive view of salvation can cause trouble for interfaith couples” could have been more accurately stated “Having a Biblical view of salvation can cause trouble for interfaith couples”

      • I disagree. Even the bible can’t agree on what exactly salvation requires. It’s whatever your particular denomination teaches.
