“As a priest, the most difficult thing is … to see a casket and to see parents walking behind it.”

– The Rev. John Stabeno of Washington Township, N.J., on his failed efforts to open a sober-living house for recovering addicts. He was quoted by the Philadelphia Inquirer.

  1. Father John Stabeno is the most dedicated human being in our troubled country today helping teens/young adults and their families as far as he can reach. He is a true Saint and should be moved up further in the Catholic Church in my humble opinion. Why he isn’t being supported by the church in the additional work he wants to accomplish is sad, very sad. I don’t understand it.
