Top Skyscraper

This ad appears on the left hand navigation colummn, opposite the RNS Blog and Featured Photo.  This is RNS's largest advertising position and appears only on the home page. A skyscraper position purchase guarantees exclusive hold on this slot throughout the duration of the campaign. This position sells out quickly, and should be booked well in advance.

Rates: $650 per month (or 30 day equivalent).

120x600 (standard skyscraper) 160x600 (wide skyscraper)

Top Button Position


This ad appears above the fold and in the navigation bar to the right of our daily featured article. A top button purchase guarantees exclusive hold on this slot throughout the duration of the campaign.

Rates: $400 per month (or 30 day equivalent)

Additional placements included: button positions throughout the site, though the top button position on these pages is not guaranteed.

Run of Site Ad Positions

The RNS website is designed to encourage clickthroughs to full-text landing pages. These landing pages offer a variety of advertising opportunities and positions. Run of Site advertising is currently included as a bonus for all RNS website advertisers.

Banner Advertising

Two standard banner positions exist on most landing pages (except for the Daily Featured Article and Blog, which are exclusively available to master content sponsors, above). These positions are top banner and bottom banner, which appear above and below the content on the landing page. These positions are non-exclusive and rotate with each page view.

Button Advertising

All RNS landing pages (including the Daily Featured Article and Blog) contain 3 button positions in the right navigation bar. These positions are non-exclusive and rotate with each page view.

E-newsletter Advertising

Banner and button advertising positions are available in RNS's free weekly enewsletter, which pushes "best of" content each week to double opt-in subscribers.

There are four banner positions and five button positions available. In terms of position, these are sold on a first come, first served basis, and are exclusive (non-rotating).

Price: $100 per week; $300 if purchased in four week increments.

Buttons

Two sizes available: 120x60 or 120x90.   Same file size limitations as for website buttons.

Religion News Service's subsidiary, Religion Press Release Services (RPRS), delivers press releases daily to an opt-in list of subscribers, as well as on RNS' Associated Press feed. Unlike other press release services, RPRS specifically focuses on religion media professionals (editors and writers) who have requested to see press releases from us. We do not spam, and we deliver stellar results to our clients.
