Church Publishing Launches ritetime;
Online Parish Scheduler is 3rd New rite Product of 2009
(New York, NY) -- As part of its robust e-publishing initiative, Church Publishing Incorporated (CPI) has released the third new web-based product in its "rite series online" franchise. Ritetime, a unique parish schedule builder, is now available for free 30-day trial at www.riteseries.org/time/trial, and complements the 2009 releases of ritesong and ritebrain earlier this year.
A sophisticated new tool for clergy and church administrators, "Ritetime is the ultimate application for organizing recurring worship services or coordinating detailed events, including weddings, Christmas pageants, or midweek meetings and locations," said Pete Velander, vice president for Morehouse Education Resources, a CPI division. "With ritetime, church professionals can easily schedule and confirm key people, places, and related logistics from any place where there is internet access."
Ritetime automatically notifies participants when an event is scheduled, or when any changes are made. It shows conflicts and availability in personal schedules, facilities, and related church resources. Using the online program, a church can publish and maintain a public calendar on the congregation's website, which is always up-to-date! And the intuitive new program is both inexpensive, plus simple to set up and maintain. Like most rite series online products, the cost for an annual subscription is based on church worship attendance, making it affordable for all.
The rite series online emerged from the original rite stuff CD-based products, now available in Rite Stuff 1.6, for those who feel more secure having a resident application.
Other new rite series online web-based products include ritebrain, which provides content of the Book of Common Prayer, Book of Occasional Services, Lesser Feasts and Fasts, and Enriching Our Worship 1& 2, plus ritesong, where users can access unlimited .pdf files of the congregational music found in a variety of hymnals and songbooks, making it easy to download copy-ready versions for bulletins and song sheets, with permissions included. These products, too, are available for free trial at www.riteseries.org/brain/trial, or www.riteseries.org/song/trial .
All of these products can be ordered through www.riteseries.org.
Headquartered in New York City, Church Publishing Incorporated is publisher for the Episcopal Church and produces a wide variety of titles for congregational use and general readers through its Church Publishing, Morehouse Publishing, and Seabury Books imprints. Additional divisions include Morehouse Education Resources, in Denver, which develops, publishes, and distributes digital products and programs, plus faith formation resources for all ages Morehouse Church Supplies, based in Harrisburg, PA, a church-supplies super store.
Tear sheets and/or advance notice of publication is encouraged and appreciated.
