David Shaw, Business Coordinator
David Shaw has served as the business coordinator for Religion News Service since 2000, and is president & managing partner of GRID Media LLC, a publications management firm.
GRID Media provides outsourced management solutions for a variety of media owners, including Religion News Service.
Prior to founding GRID Media, Shaw served as senior vice president and group publisher for Phillips Business Information, and group vice president for Advanstar Communications. He holds a degree in English from the University of California at Irvine.
Claudia Sans Werner, Business and Sales Manager
Claudia Sans Werner joined the RNS staff in 1998. She is responsible for marketing, publicizing and selling RNS subscriptions, as well as developing and maintaining client relationships. Previously she worked as a copy editor at a translation firm in Miami. Sans Werner is the president of the Washington chapter of the Religion Communicators Council. She received her BA in English and Latin American Studies from Tulane University.
