President Obama is leaning toward joining a black D.C. congregation and will be in church this Easter Sunday, Politico reports.

An “aide” noted that in Obama’s first book, he said that there is “something that was compelling to him about the African-American worship tradition and that remains the same. He has made his perspective pretty clear.”

Busy week in religion for the prez: He was checking out mosques in Turkey on Tuesday, had a Passover seder in the White House on Thursday and will be in church on Sunday. Sounds like someone’s checking out the Divine Deli.
