Speaking of sex, conservative Christian megapastor Mark Driscoll just released a new book on “Real Marriage,” which addresses, among other things, the sex lives of Christian couples. Some conservative Christians are giving the book catuious praise, but the review most people are talking about is from blogger Rachel Held Evans. She is none-to-pleased with Driscoll’s foray into the world of sex therapy.

In other marriage news, Russell Brand and pop musician Katy Perry are getting a divorce. No big deal, you say – pop stars get divorced all the time, right? Well, the couple – who were reportedly wed in India in an extravagant ceremony involving camels and flippin’ elephants – has come under fire from Hindu leaders who see them as defiling the rite of marriage. Honestly, I just want to know who’s going to get the elephants in the divorce.

Finally, your Hauntingly Beautiful Religion Video of the Day is called “Optimist.” It’s gorgeous footage of the Hindu festival of colors (or “Holi”), as celebrated at the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah. Slow Mo is awesome (watch in HD!).
