(RNS) Tampa is not known to be a particularly religious city. But those in town for the Republican National Convention won't have to look too hard to find a spiritual experience. By Lauren Markoe.

  1. I’m a Mormon. The LDS population in Tampa might not be as large as some other Christian faiths, but there are tens of thousands of members in the greater area, so it doesn’t feel “tiny.” It is easy to find meetinghouse locations through lds.org. If I remember correctly, Florida as a state has close to the national average number of Mormons per capita, 1.7 %.
