Blackaby is type 2 diabetic and had no insulin, his family wrote on Blackaby Ministry’s Facebook page. Police found Blackaby alone, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports, tracking him down through his credit card activity.

His son Richard Blackaby tweeted updates that hundreds of volunteers were searching for him before he was found. He said that his father had a heart attack while driving in Atlanta. He drove 29 hours until he was found.

According to his Amazon page, Henry Blackaby serves as a special consultant in the Southern Baptist Convention to the presidents of the North American Mission Board, International Mission Board, and LifeWay Christian Resources. His book and study course “Experiencing God” have sold more than 7 million copies. Blackaby lives in Rex, Georgia.
