The “T” in “LGBT” – As people who are transgender speak out increasingly about their lives and their needs, some churches and other institutions are trying to respond. Judy Valente reports from Chicago on some of the theological questions around transgender identity and a church that welcomes and ministers to transgender individuals.

Taking the Church to the Needy  A Lutheran pastor in Minnesota has made it her ministry to take a food truck to a neighborhood where people are hungry. Fred de Sam Lazaro reports on her “church,” the responses she has received and the hopes she retains.
