Benefit Corporations – For-profit companies with the mission of creating both profits for their investors and long-term value for their communities, their workers and the environment. Lucky Severson reports that there are now more than a thousand so-called B-Corporations, with laws in some states allowing them to pursue their twin goals without the risk of being sued by shareholders who might be interested only in profits.

Profile Author Kent Nerburn – Bob Faw profiles award-winning author Kent Nerburn who writes about the spirituality and mistreatment of Native Americans. Nerburn says their enduring values have helped him erase his own guilt. “I wanted to get forgiveness for the crimes of my culture.”
