The Carter Center in Atlanta, Ga., announces six one-year journalism fellowships of $10,000 each.

Designed to enhance public understanding of mental health issues, The Rosalynn Carter Fellowships for Mental Health Journalism support journalists interested in producing a significant and timely project on mental health or mental illnesses.  Working journalists tackle timely topics of their choice, and are not required to leave their current employment. The fellowships begin in September 2015.
